Latest Los Angeles News I have a little confession to make. I am a Fray Day virgin. I may be putting together the Los Angeles event, but I've never been to a Fray Day event before... Now that you're over the shock (yes, I know I'm deprived), on with business. I'm sure there are some veteran Frayers in the Los Angeles area, people who (unlike me) have done this sort of thing before and know the ropes. If you're one of them, I'm talking to you! I need your help in two different ways. First, I need people for the "Featured Performers" segment of the event, and since you guys are the experts, I can't think of anyone better suited for this. Second, I need your recollections of and stories about past events. I want to stick as closely as possible to the Fray spirit as I can, so your input is extremely valuable here! (Actually, any veteran Frayer, Los Angelino or not, is welcome to help me out with that second part.) Get in touch! I'd also like to thank all the people who have emailed with offers to volunteer. Apologies for not having replied yet; life has been busy and my computers have been misbehaving. (Ask me if you want the full story.) Once I figure out things for you to do, I'll let you know. Promise! And in closing, we're on the verge of making our venue announcement. We've more or less secured one, but we're going to hold off making the official announcement until we've had the opportunity to scope out the place (which we'll do later today).
